FAQ

Common questions.

What is an answer?

An answer is your written response to the lawsuit. It tells the court you are responding.

Why does filing an answer help?

If no answer is filed, the collector can ask for a default judgment, which means winning without hearing your side. Filing an answer can stop that quick result and give you time to defend yourself or work out a deal.

What does the $50 service cover?

This service covers preparing and filing the answer in an Arkansas debt lawsuit.

What happens after the answer is filed?

This flat-fee service ends after the answer is filed unless we separately agree to more work.

Do I need a phone call to get started?

No. The point of this site is to let you start online first.

What if I do not know the case number?

That is okay. Upload the summons, complaint, or anything else you have, and include the county if you know it.

What if my deadline is close?

Send the form right away. Tight deadlines need faster action, not more delay.
